CAP round is an admission procedure conducted by colleges where seats are not filled through central counseling. In case you did not get a seat because your score was not good enough, you can apply for colleges through CAP round. Once all the rounds of counseling are done, the college will advertise for the remaining seats. 

If you wish to apply, you will have to pay an extra application and admission fee to take admission in the respective college. This will secure your seat and you can start the session with that college.
