Graphic design : I'm interested in this field but I don't know which college is best for it. What exam is required for it?

B.Sc. (Design - Graphics) at LPU is an Internationally accepted programme for global careers, which trains students in the domains of print, package design, UI/UX design, motion graphics and environmental graphics. In order to enroll for this programme you need to satisfy the Eligibility Criteria: Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or UCEED or Under Graduate NID DAT (Prelims) or Under Graduate NIFT.

At LPU the Multimedia programme emphasises sound theoretical grounding in principles and process of animation film making with extensive practical works, it enables proficiency in students to handle and deliver industry-standard projects/output. The Eligibility Criteria is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. The programme focuses on developing drawing and sketching skills through observation and study of light and shade. The student will be able to Acquire knowledge of the elements and principles used in designing, attain skills to choose and implement vector and raster tools to create a visual design. The programme helps develop competence to work in a team to execute visual design concepts utilising the visualisation, drawing, sketching, and painting skills, Design and execute sequential art and illustration in the form of comics and storyboards for use in films, games, and other related media. Students will be able to analyse and execute projects following proper pipeline and management of time. This course will help to create and execute digital painting using appropriate software at par with industry standards. This course will help to develop concepts and visually represent concept/creativity through drawing. Explain the history of animation and also provides an insight into various mediums of communicative media. Students will be able to convert ideas to stories and present the same through proper format. A set of four elective courses in a related area to develop a competency beyond the major area Gaming, 3d visualisation, conceptual design, Graphics, Effects, and simulation. The fee for the programme is Rs 120000 per semester. However, you can get a waive off on the fee by appearing in LPUNEST. The highest salary was 23 LPA while 4.9 LPA average salary. Dear student,

You don't need any specific exam to study Graphic Design. We suggest that you complete your graduation and then enrol in a good Amination/ Multimedia institute. NIIT, Aptech etc are good centres to learn Graphic Design. WLCI School, better known as WESchool also have multiple campuses and provide this course.
