Hostel : What girls hostel available?

LPU does offer hostel to female students. The female guards are deployed in the girls' hostels. There are female security guards who look after the security of the girl's hostel. The Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs. of time and are accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Girls are not allowed to roam around the hostel till late at night. No outsiders are allowed. Even the parents have to get a GATE pass to enter the university premises. Strict disciplinary actions are taken against those who indulge in indiscipline. This is the reason why we don't come across any untoward incidents. Lovely Professional University is completely safe & secure, 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances. Following are the security measures undertaken by the university for the safety of the students: 1) There are 7400+ CCTV surveillance on a 24X7 basis from every corner. 2) 400+ Security Officials are there. LPU security team includes experienced ex-military men and women. 3) Drug Free Campus (Zero tolerance towards drugs & alcohol. A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus). 4) A++ Fire Station is there 5) A++ Hi Tech. Security Gadgets are installed. 6) TURNSTILE GATES & BOOM BARRIERS: LPU has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles, thereby ensuring that every movement is monitored. In such an atmosphere you can well imagine how the boys or girls could be.

Lovely Professional University is one of the World's largest Universities in terms of providing lodging facilities to its students. It has the capacity to accommodate approx 25,000 of its students on its campus. Talking in terms of the number of hostels available inside the campus, the university has a total of 9 hostels for boys, which can accommodate approx 18,500 male students and 6 hostels for girls, which can accommodate approx 6,500 female students. The entire University campus is spread over approx 600 acres of land. For commuting from hostels to the academic blocks facility, E-rickshaws and Helix Bikes are available at a nominal cost. Apart from this, students are also permitted to ply their private two-wheelers or four-wheelers, for which a sufficient parking area is available near every academic block. Types of Accommodation There are two types of accommodation available for the students, namely Apartment-type accommodation and Standard Hostel-type accommodation. Apartment-type accommodation has one to four-seater rooms available. All the apartment rooms are decked up with air conditioning facilities. Furniture including a wooden bed box, study table, chair and almirah are provided in the rooms. Apartments also have a lobby and pantry area. Washrooms are attached to the rooms with geysers fitted inside them. On the other hand, Standard hostel-type accommodation has two to six-seater rooms available. Hostel accommodation gives the option to choose between air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned accommodation to the students. Furniture items namely bed, almirah, study table and chair are provided here.
