Dear Vani,

Admission to SRCC will begin in 2023. Delhi University has released new guidelines for admission to all UG degrees. The Common Seat Allocation System and the CUET scores will be used to determine admission to all DU-affiliated colleges starting this year (CSAS). Through the whole admissions procedure, three stages will be taken. Applications for Phase 1 must be submitted using the CSAS 2023 application form. Students will have to select their desired subject and college during the second round. Numerous rounds of seat allocation will be used in the third stage, and final admittance will be based on a merit list.

Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2023 Admission Process:

For UG programme admission for all of its affiliated colleges, Delhi University has utilised the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Below is a description of the entire process:

Phase 1: CSAS 2023 Application Form

  • Applicants must submit a completed CSAS 2023 Application Form and a one-time, non-refundable application fee via the centralised admission site.
  • Candidates for the ECA and the sports quota are required to pay an additional fee.

Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences

  • The second phase will start when the CUET UG test results are made public.
  • Following the release of the CUET UG 2023 Results, eligible candidates must select their courses and declare their preferences for selected colleges on the official CSAS portal.

Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission

  • The number of seats available and the candidate's category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) will both have an impact on seat allocation. The candidate's position on the merit list and the combination of the college and programme they choose are additional factors.
  • The institution will confirm admission after receipt of payment for a seat after verifying eligibility and document authenticity.
  • The allocation of seats will be determined by several factors, including the candidate's category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) and the number of seats available. The position an applicant has on the merit list as well as the college and programme combination they choose are additional factors.
  • The institution will confirm admission following eligibility verification and document authenticity verification after receiving payment for a seat.
