Hi!

KHPS (Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha) is headquartered in Chennai & trains Hindi Pracharaks (propagators/teachers) via its Hindi Pracharak Training Course. This is a 1-year Diploma programme to teach/spread Hindi in schools across South India. You are a strong qualifier, with Sahityacharya (1998), as it is a postgraduate Hindi literature degree equivalent to MA Hindi, exceeding basic eligibility.

Eligibility Criteria to Become a Pracharak in KHPS

  • Pass in 10th Std + Bachelor's/PG degree (any stream); Hindi at +2 or graduation level preferred. Sahityacharya holders like you are eligible directly (no entrance needed if PG equivalent)

  • You should typically be between 18-35 years (relaxations for experienced candidates); no upper limit specified for PG holders.

  • Proficiency in Hindi (spoken/written). Sometimes, South Indian professionals are preferred, but in general, it is open to all.

  • If you belong to SC/ST/OBC category, then rules as per Tamil Nadu govt norms (45% marks relaxation) will apply
