How to start preparing for ias from class 11 biomaths group?

It is great that you have decided this early to start preparing for a career in the Indian Administration Services (IAS).

Recruitment for IAS is done through the UPSC Civil Services exam.

Since the eligibility for writing the IAS exam is graduation from a recognized university, there is still plenty of time before you can write the exam even for the first time and doing heavy preparation from now may not prove to be useful.

At your current level, the best way to begin preparation would be to acquaint yourself with the IAS Exam syllabus and begin preparation using NCERT books. It would also be a good idea to build a habit of staying updated with the current affairs as that would help you stay in flow when you appear for the exam.

Pre-preparation helps build a good knowledge base and many aspirants also join coaching classes for IAS preparation after completing their graduation.
