Dear Student,
As a non-local candidate with an AP EAMCET rank of 30,165, you do have a reasonable chance of securing a seat in Andhra Pradesh, but your options are mostly limited to private engineering colleges and lesser-known institutions. Only about 15% of the seats in AP EAMCET participating colleges are reserved for non-local candidates, which makes competition stiffer for these seats compared to local category students. Based on recent data and rank cutoffs, non-local candidates with ranks up to around 40,000–45,000 can gain admission to several private colleges, especially for branches like Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or lower-demand streams. For popular branches like Computer Science or top government colleges, the closing ranks are generally much lower, so your chances there are slim. We hope that we have answered your query successfully. All the best for a great future ahead!
