Hello! BPT or Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a four-year undergraduate professional course that deals with the science of physical movement and channelising it to prevent disability and diseases of movement. Physiotherapy or physical therapy is an allied health profession that helps people increase, maintain or restore their physical mobility, function, and strength. This science makes use of electrotherapy, evidence-based kinesiology, exercise prescription and shockwave mobility to treat chronic conditions of the bones and soft tissues. There are many universities that run this course. I can't say anything about others. Admission for BPT is ON at Lovely Professional University. During this period of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, to support prospective students (candidates) to apply for admissions , direct online/remote admissions (subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria) process has been started. University has relaxed the eligibility criteria and exempted the entrance test in most of the courses. One of them is BPT. There is No entrance exam in BPT. Eligibility for BPT is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. Physiotherapy as an art and science of prevention, care and rehabilitation of physical injury and the disabled is attaining tremendous scope in India mainly because of its job ventures and future prospects. These professionals are able to find themselves in good jobs and attractive salaries soon after their graduation. So, better be fast to get your seat confirmed. I hope this helps. All the Best!
