I have got 56% in boards with PCM , am I eligible to get into any College for Bsc agriculture in Maharashtra?

The Eligibility Criteria of the program is Qualifying LPUNEST or CUET and Pass with 60% aggregate marks in: (a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) One can get a job of a Biochemist, Food Scientist, environmental Engineer, Agricultural Lawyer, Agricultural Operations Manager, Animal Geneticist, Agricultural Engineers, Agronomy Sales Manager etc The dedicated faculty of LPU gives the students a hands -on training experience by assigning live projects (Agricultural work) in university agricultural research farms and experiential learning on different agricultural units. It includes disciplines like Agronomy, Horticulture Genetics and Plant Breeding, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Economics, Extension, etc. The major emphasis of the programme is to get the students acquainted with knowledge and hands-on experiences in the above mentioned discipline and apply that knowledge to high value agricultural production in a sustainable manner. The ICAR approved programmes include: B Sc (Hons. ). AgricultureM. ScAgriculture {Horticulture (Fruit Science) M. ScAgriculture (Agronomy) M. ScAgriculture (Genetics and Plant Breeding)The minimum age required for enrolling in the programme is 16yrs. Students may be given an option to go for a 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. There is also an option to join a partner university abroad for a semester. Students are engaged towards evergreen agriculture, keeping in view the RAWE programme to build interpersonal skills. The students are exposed to Commercial farms to get know-how that creates an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. Emphasis on case studies and inter-personal based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios is given. At LPU the minimum age required for enrolling in the is 16yrs. Merit in qualifying examination LPUNEST, subject to eligibility criteria. Eligibility: To get admission, you should have passed with 60% marks in: (a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths or Biology or Forestry)+LPUNEST or (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture)+LPUNEST or (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent+LPUNEST. BSc. Agriculture degree offers a number of avenues for growth. The graduates desirous of specializing may opt for a master’s program. The Undergraduate Degree in BSc. Agriculture consists of few core subjects such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Genetics, Plant Pathology, Land Surveying, Entomology Horticulture, Physiology, Food Science, water resource management, and Animal Products management. A number of subjects such as Economics, Meteorology, Technology, Business, and Production Management are studied in close reference to the subject. Fees: the fees for MBA program is 120000 per semester but there is scholarship on the basis of entrance test that is Lpunest , national level exams like CAT, MAT, XAT., financial aid like need basis, defence basis and many more. If you still think that fees is little to high then there is a facility of student loan facility and you can do part time job side by side to recover the amount and to helping your parents. Generally, for admission to the BSc in Agriculture course, colleges consider students with 50% - 60% marks in Class 12th as eligible. Although most of the colleges that you may apply to accept 50% overall marks in class 12th, the minimum percentage requirement may be higher.
