I am a postgraduate degree holder in Hindi language and I am 34 years old. I recently found my passion for Ancient Architecture. Are there any short-term courses offered by any institutions?

Dear student, it was pleasing to know that you have discovered your passion, that too in Ancient Architecture. There is one reputed university, i.e Banaras Hindu University which offers a 1-year Postgraduate Diploma course in History of Art which comprises of a paper in Ancient Indian Architecture along with other papers like Indian Sculpture, Indian Painting, Indian Iconography and Islamic Architecture. However, according to the official website of BHU, only Bachelor’s degree holders in Archaeology, Ancient Indian History Culture, History, Sanskrit, Religion and Philosophy with a minimum 55% aggregate from any recognised University can apply for this programme. If you have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the aforementioned subjects and you fulfil the rest of the eligibility requirements, then you can easily apply for this 1-year PG Diploma programme.
