It is worth noting that LPU has been granted ICAR accreditation for its exceptional agricultural studies program. As a result, the number of students successfully placed in jobs after completing their studies has significantly increased. Allow me to shed light on the meaning of ICAR. ICAR is a certification bestowed by the Indian government's ministry, recognizing universities that excel in agricultural education. To obtain this certification, a university must possess state-of-the-art facilities such as laboratories and fields, as well as highly skilled and experienced faculty members. Furthermore, advanced research laboratories and a strong research background are essential for a university to meet ICAR's stringent standards. LPU holds the distinction of being the first private university to receive recognition from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and Ministry of Agriculture for its exceptional contributions in the field of agriculture. Pursuing an agriculture course from an ICAR accredited institution ensures that you have acquired all the necessary skills, tools, and techniques for successful farming. This, in turn, enhances your employment prospects in both private companies and government positions. Lovely Professional University places great emphasis on providing quality education. The professors at LPU are highly knowledgeable and approachable, fostering a conducive learning environment. Additionally, LPU places significant importance on practical learning. Indeed, LPU places students in the agriculture program well. Without a doubt, during my studies, my roommate was enrolled in an agriculture program and had received good placement. Lovely Professional University (LPU) agriculture graduates have a strong placement record. Six lakhs is the average annual pay for the BSc Agriculture program. Numerous graduates of LPU go on to pursue careers in agriculture both locally and abroad. Reputable farming businesses paid top dollar to LPU students. Higher education students are placed by the School of Agriculture at a variety of businesses, such as Virbac, Sanra Organics, Nestle, Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance Retail, Syngenta, Bio Seed, Nestle, and VLCC. The maximum pay for graduates of LPU's BSc in agriculture degree is 19.25 LPA.The above 94 percentage of student getting placement in this field surely and day by day this figure is rising. The most pleasant aspect about LPU placement is that they offer placement classes to every student that chooses the option from their first year onward. Because the companies that will start visiting to hire students in a pre-final year, they could apply this to get ready themselves for placements up to that point. Even in their final year, some students go for internship programmes. In addition, each school has a placement coordinator who is in charge of not only inviting companies to the campus but also actively working to prepare students for placements by providing them with the necessary training. The same holds true for agricultural department also. Hope this information helps you. Good luck!!!

LPU is famous for top placements of his students in leading companies due to more than 700 tie ups. As you know, LPU has ICAR accreditation for agriculture studies, so the placement of students exponentially increased. Let me clear first what is the meaning of ICAR. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is an accreditation from the Central ministry of India related to study of agriculture which is given to those universities who are the best for this field means, if a university have all the resources in terms of labs, fields, well qualified and experienced staff and faculty, hi Tech labs, research background etc. Then this affiliation is given to only that university. It is very difficult for a university to meet the standards of ICAR. LPU is the first private university to be granted The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) accreditation by Ministry of Agriculture due to their excellency in the study of agriculture. Doing any course related to agriculture from ICAR accredited means you have all the skills and you are aware of all the tools and methods required for agriculture. This will help you for your career in private and government sector. Placements in LPU are very promising for the BSc Agriculture students. Ove the past years students from School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio Seed, Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more reputed agriculture companies with very decent packages.

It is a little hard to say which is the "best" because it really depends on the student's preferences and research interests but in my opinion, You can go for Geeta University as it is the best University for B.SC Agriculture in NCR. Students are exposed to Commercial farms to get know-how that create an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. The University aims to equip students with the knowledge, technology, and awareness of Agricultural Science, Plant Science, and Animal Production by combining a variety of wildlife trips, low-level training activities, and industry exposure. The combination of an effective curriculum and modern agricultural practices makes our teaching more effective and participatory, thus opening up different career opportunities for students. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. Students learn about the latest advancements in the field of agriculture, disease resistance, fertilizers and, insecticides with extensive fieldwork and field trips preparing them for the evergreen field of agriculture. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures . University focuses on quality education a lot and all the professors of GU are highly qualified and friendly, University also focuses on practical knowledge a lot and agriculture students of GU has to go through various such practical tasks and projects which makes it very easy to understand the concepts and develop a deep knowledge of the subjects.

LPU is well known for its B.SC(Hons) Agriculture course. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified, and most of them are Ph. Ds and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held. If a faculty wants a leave, either the makeup lectures are planned, or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. In this stream, as most of the work is fieldwork, every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks under the supervision of the staff. If I talk about placements, University provides separate placement-oriented classes, and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etcetera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students. I want to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. LPU provide the best salary package to their student .The highest package offered during LPU placements 2022 stood at INR 64 LPA. hope this information helpful!!

LPU is a first private University having ICAR accreditation. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) co-ordinates agricultural education and research in the country under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture (Govt. of India). LPU School of Agriculture has been granted accreditation by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, making it the first and only private University in the country to receive the accreditation. Creating professionals to tackle the dogma from seed to stomach. It runs B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Programme ie for 4 years. Students are also involved in Practical crop production, Rural and Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE), Nursery raising for horticulture crops, Crop And Seed Identification, Soil And Water Sampling And Analysis, Soil Description And Interpretation, Organic And Chemical Fertilizer etc. projects other than regular course work. Agriculture deals with well planned on-field implementation and testing of basic concepts in production, yield enhancement disease resistant and better shelf life of food and flora. Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country or option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions. The most significant thing which should be emphasized is that LPU is the first private university which has been approved by ICAR.I along with my cousins had visited the fields, labs. In order to infuse understanding on emerging problems and technologies involved in agriculture field visits are conducted to neighbouring farms, orchards and nurseries. Not only subject related education is imparted but also the professional enhancement is added by the university through the different courses like soft skills and communication skills. Major Highlights of the programme that I would be highlighting over here are as follows: a) The course would impart knowledge and understanding of fundamental concepts and techniques of maintaining and enhancing soil fertility, crop production, crop management, crop improvement, biodiversity and sustainability of agriculture worldwide. b) The course would develop the ability to know farming practices and their scope to improve in the rural areas and the environments. c) It would help in applying the knowledge of basic science through Agricultural microbiology, Plant biochemistry and Biotechnology. d) It will focus on application of knowledge of Agri-business management and finance to develop profitable agricultural system. e) 19.25 LPA PLACEMENT OFFERED IN PANDEMIC BY DE SHAW LPU students have got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. Student of Lovely Professional University, Kavita Faman, a final year student of M.Sc. Agriculture (Agronomy), has bagged a package of Rs 1 crore. The package has been offered by Monsanto, global leaders in agrochemicals and now part of the crop sciences division of the Bayer Gare lot of government job available for agricultural graduates in different sectors like FCI ,KVK, CCI ,ATMA, IFFCO ,NABARD ,RBI etc. The following are the key job opportunities in BSc in Agriculture : Job Roles for Agriculture Graduates. LPU is best for Bsc in agriculture. One of my cousins graduated in this course from LPU and I will highlight some of the features. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. Ds and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. University provides additional placement oriented classes and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etcetera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. Thanks

Well, Lovely Professional University is the first private University who has got and accreditation from ICAR. Curriculum followed at LPU is as per the guidelines of ICAR (Indian Council of Agriculture Research) only and is designed to train students to understand ways of improving the crop production in a sustainable manner and to provide overall knowledge related to agriculture. The demand for graduates with a degree in agriculture is increasing every day in India and abroad. B.sc Agriculture is a 4 year undergraduate professional course offered by Lovely Professional University. Agriculture is the process of producing food, feed, fiber, and many other desired products by the cultivation of certain plants and the raising of domesticated animals (livestock), and that what LPU teach to students. Moreover, at LPU you will get the desired exposure in the farms of LPU that what LPU alumni says, where you will come to know in deep about agriculture with hands-on sessions. Moreover, LPU focussed on the improvement of academic quality and public accountability and that's the reason that LPU got ICAR accreditation to run this programme.LPU meets official standards. As per my search, Placements in LPU are very promising for Bsc in Agriculture students. For campus placements several Brands of the industry visited the LPU campus every year, students get trained for that and the process is still going on. Around 180+ reputed companies visit every year for campus-placement from LPU. In agriculture programs candidates got very good packages. The highest package offered is approximately 8 LPA and the minimum package is around 3–4LPA as far as I know. As a fresher one can start well with such packages.Thanks.

If we see the placements for Agriculture students, LPU takes the cake. Last year in a first for Agriculture institutions across the country, Kavita Faman a LPU student secured a package of INR 1 CRORE with a food processing international major Monsanto LLc. Always remember, your placement is on basis of two things: 1. How much you have learned from your degree and how much you can apply in the realtime situations in your job. 2. The initial platform which is provided by a college of high repute. in this case LPU Over 700 companies are regular to campus for recruitment offering anywhere between 5 lacs to 1 crore per annum. Agriculture, being one of the flagship programs in LPU attracts hordes of recruiters for various positions. Some great companies for recruitment are: Syngenta, Reliance Fresh, Dhanuka, Nestle , Amul , VLCC and Haldirams etc. So the placement scene for agri graduates is vibrant. Within a short period of 15 years LPU has excelled i every sphere of education it has entered into including agriculture. You must make a informed choice. Wish you all the best. DVD
