Automobile engineering is the area of engineering that deals with the design, production, mechanical components, and operations of automobiles. It also serves as an introduction to the engineering of vehicles, such as those used in buses, trucks, cars, and motorbikes. Eligibility: Pass with 60% overall in 10+2 (with English, Mathematics, and Physics), or an equivalent, subject to passing the LPUNEST. If the candidate passed his qualifying exam in English, the requirement of English may be removed for a candidate who has not taken English as a subject. (5% relaxation for candidates from Sikkim, North East states, and defence personnel and their dependents. You alone, and no one else for that matter, determines your chances of being hired by a corporation. Following graduation, you won't be given a predetermined bundle. To support yourself while doing what you love, you need a job. It's not like you pay for college, spend four years there, and then find employment. Stop looking at a degree in that way since you are getting educated and universities are not some sort of employment agency. In any case, LPU places talented auto engineering students in excellent jobs. PLACEMENTS: Students at LPU in the Automobile Engineering programme may get a maximum of 10 LPA from BYJUS THINK AND LEARN, Hettich India, and Intellipat. Most people choose teaching and research. Internship opportunities for students are available at companies like Tata Motors Jamshedpur, Century Pulp & Paper, Aeolus Aero-Tech Pvt Ltd, Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles, Sonalika Agro Solutions Tractors Ltd, Chopra Industries PVT LTD, Ultratech Cement Limited, Shiroki Technico India PVT limited, Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers, Air India, Kartar Valve PVT LTD, INDO MIM PVT LTD, Geo Chem International Independent Inspection I hope this helps in some way! Best wishes!!

Automotive Engineering is an amalgamation of mechanical, electrical, and materials science. This field deals with designing and manufacturing of new vehicles and the development of new processes to improve existing technology. The domestic vehicle manufacturing sector of India has been steadily increasing in the last few years. An entry-level engineer can earn up to INR 25K/ month- INR 50K/ month in India. Some of the companies/institutes that recruit Automotive Engineering graduates are: 1. Bajaj Auto Ltd. 2. Eicher Motors Ltd. 3. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. 4. Hinduja Group Ltd. LPU is a good university when you compare it with other private universities and colleges. I have done my B.Tech CSE from LPU , One of my friend was enrolled in B.Tech Automobile as well. Few major point I will be sharing about LPU, I hope that helps.

Dear Student,

To pursue BE/B.Tech in Automobile Engineering, you must have passed 10+2 with minimum qualifying marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You would also have to appear for exams such as JEE or other independent entrance tests for automobile engineering by the state, central and private universities which mostly need 50% in the qualifying exam. You can also go through the list of Automobile Engineering Colleges in India here.
