At LPU the eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s Degree in (Applied Medical Science or Biosciences or Medical Science and Allied Medical or Life Sciences) or equivalent. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants) Ability to perform routine clinical laboratory tests in clinical biochemistry, hematology, immunology, immunohematology, microbiology, body fluid analysis, and laboratory operations Diagnosis: Interpret laboratory test data for clinical significance Quality Assurance: Calibrate the instruments and diagnostic analyzers by application of quality control testing. Evidence-Based Practice: Study and evaluate scientific literature, critically evaluate scientific papers and write a scientific report. Ethics: Demonstrate ethical standards of the laboratory profession about medical information and patient care Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs, etc. are an integral part of the curriculum.
