If a student fails the MBOSE Board Exam 2025, will they get a chance to appear for a supplementary exam?

Yes, students who fail the MBOSE Board Exam 2025 will have the opportunity to appear for a supplementary examination. The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has introduced a provision allowing unsuccessful candidates to reappear for their failed subjects within a short period after the main examination. This initiative aims to provide students with a second chance to clear their exams without waiting an entire academic year.  For instance, the SSLC (Class 10) supplementary examinations for 2025 are scheduled from May 1 to May 8. Similarly, the HSSLC (Class 12) supplementary exams are expected to be conducted in August 2025.
