I want to know about IIT Kharagpur M.Tech Chemical Engineering placements and recruiting companies.

I am not quite aware of IIT Kharagpur M.Tech Chemical Engineering but LPU School of Chemical Engineering is among the best Chemical Engineering colleges in Punjab and India. Technical Skills are imparted into the students through a carefully designed course curriculum that creates a strong foundation of basic concepts. Regular teaching involves learning by practice making students industry ready professionals much before they graduate. Students Get Placement-Ready Through Direct Interaction With Industry Experts • Eminent experts from the industry/academia are invited to enrich the knowledge of students for solving industrial and societal problems. In one such visit, Dr. Manash Sarmah (Scientist, Jubilant Chemsys) interacts with the students. The students get placed in reputed Pharmaceutical And Chemical Brands • Students were placed in reputed companies like Panacea Biotec, Jubilant Chemsys, Siegwerk, Aurigene Discovery Technologies Ltd., Tech Mahindra, Aakash, Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Amazon, Concentrix, British Telecom etc. Outreach Activity A Workshop on “Instrumentation and Computational Techniques” was organized for the students of other colleges to impart the knowledge of MATLAB software, various instrumental techniques in physics and chemistry. Guest Lectures: • One of the best thing of LPU is that conducts many Guest Lectures from Industry Experts to make the the students industry ready to all the branches. Dr. Ambrish Singh (Southwest Petroleum University, Sichuan Province, P. R. China.) delivered a lecture on “Development of corrosion inhibitors and their applications in different industries”. • Professor Yuanhua Lin From China Interacted With LPU Students • In one of the invited lectures, Professor Yuanhua Lin (Dean, School of Material Science and Engineering, Southwest Petroleum University, China) interacted with the students during RAFAS-2016. PG Students Visit Pharmaceutical Research At NIPER, Mohali • Post graduation students of Department of Chemistry visited National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER)-Mohali, for experiencing the industrial environment. Hands-On Experience With Cutting Edge Laboratories • Hands-on-experience in the laboratories, an integral component of LPU curriculum, is provided to students to initiate their critical thinking which comes handy in developing real time problem solving skills. RESEARCH AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP: • More than 105 publications in Thomson Reuters/Scopus indexed journals by the faculty members of School of Chemical Engineering and Physical Sciences in the last two years (2016 and 2017). • SCHOOL ORGANIZED INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE RAFAS 2016’ o Eminent personalities from the global scientific community witnessed mega science conference “Recent Advances in Fundamental and Applied Sciences”, RAFAS-2016. LPU FACULTY DR NITI KANT PRESENTED HIS RESEARCH WORK IN LONDON • Dr. Niti Kant, Associate Professor at international conference on Magnetism and Magnetic Materials held in London, during which he presented his research work on “Electron Acceleration by Chirped Axicon Gaussian Laser in Vaccum” For more details check the LPU website.
