I would like to say that LPU is synonymous to B Tech CSE. The B Tech CSE program is one of the forte of LPU. Being a faculty of LPU I would like to share some details of B Tech CSE department of LPU : At LPU B Tech CSE programme gives its graduates a competitive edge through robust curriculum and hands-on learning in niche technologies to develop competence which caters to the requirements of the industry. It primarily deals with the development and designing of computer software and hardware processes with strong focus on algorithms, programming languages, program design etc. The eligibility for the program is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. To enable the students to keep pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum would provide a WILD CARD entry to industry. The B Tech CSE program primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. that is needed to build and solve problems using computers. The curriculum taught here is of international standard. The CSE dept. of LPU has various tie-ups with Google, Pega, VMWARE, Automation Anywhere, Informatica, Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). The university has state-of-the-art labs with the latest software to provide hands-on practical exposure to students LPU is establishing dominance in Placements and creating benchmarks. The LPU students are making new strides in their careers and inspiring others to strive for excellence in their careers. Tie-ups with Industries: LPU has tie-ups with many reputed industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrad. Comptia, Transorg, Geeksforgeeks, etc that help students to explore themselves more in their field. LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors.
