Is a Mewar University diploma considered for government jobs?

Mewar University has both UGC and AICTE approval for its programmes. The university is autonomous and was set up by the Government of Rajasthan. Mewar University is the only university in Rajasthan that is both self-financed and approved by the UGC u/s 12B of the UGC Act. It has also received accreditation from NAAC. The other approvals include AIU, PCI, BCI, NCTE and IAP. Therefore, a diploma from Mewar University is acceptable for employment in the government sector. From Mewar University placements in 2023, students secured an average package of Rs 4.2 LPA. The highest package in 2022 stood at Rs 21 LPA. Students over the years have secured jobs in companies like Bharat Electronics Ltd, Eastern Coalfields Ltd, NHPC Ltd, UPCL, etc. Mewar University diploma fees range from Rs 45,000 to Rs 1,05,000 per year, varying based on the course.
