Is BDS course done in CU private or BUMS without qualifying NEET?

Dear Students, 

In Chandigarh University, Mohali, the admissions to BDS courses are done based on NEET 2025 exam scores while for the BUMS course, the NEET exam is not mandatory admission. To qualify for admissions, students must meet the eligibility criteria. NEET 2025 eligibility criteria are that students must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 50% marks from a recognised board. Further, for the BUMS course, students must crack the CUCET exam to get admission to Chandigarh University. Chandigarh University offers 100 seats for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery course and for the BUMS course seats vary every year. Therefore, students are selected based on the NEET 2025 exam and for CUCET exam scores and the university does not provide direct admissions to the programs.Students can find the entrance exam dates for the 2025 session mentioned below.
