Is it possible to get direct admission in Amity University? What is the process?

Dear aspirant…… I have no idea regarding admission criteria at this university Lovely Professional University is one of the premier institutions of international repute and an avant - garde campus spread over 600 acres on the outskirts of Jalandhar City. It is a multi-disciplinary university in India that offers more than 150 programmes. In a short span of time, LPU has earned the right of becoming both, nationally and globally, the most preferred academic institute where quality dissemination of education is a way of life. LPU offers more than 150 courses, and there are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission. In general, the score in the previous qualification should be as required as per eligibility mentioned on the website. In addition to that, the candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., MBA, BSc Hons, B.Pharm, MLT etc.. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a national-level entrance test conducted by LPU and is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. So, it totally depends on the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to take admission to. You can check the eligibility criteria for your desired course at LPU website. The aim of conducting the test is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student. LPUNEST provides an opportunity to applicants who could not perform well in the qualifying examination owing to various personal, academic or procedure-specific reasons and is therefore not able to derive the benefit of the scholarship scheme of the university. Scholarships can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D through LPUNEST score, and various other schemes. Hi there, as far as the Lovely Professional University is concerned, you can take direct admission, however, there are certain programs such as B Tech, MBA and Hons programs in which you can get admission only if you qualify the entrance exam. Apart from that the programs such as BBA, BCOMM, and BA programs do not have mandatory entrance tests as an eligibility, you can seek admission in these programs. However, you need to fulfil other eligibility conditions.

In some courses its compulsory to appear and qualify that particular exam the courses like b.tech, b.arch and mba, but in courses like ba, b.com, bba its not necessary to appear in LPUNEST if you want scholarship then you can apply for the same but you are interested in that also then there in no need to appear in the exam called LPUNEST.

LPU is much better than any other University. Dear Student,

Yes. It is possible to get direct admission to Amity University, Noida. However, only the students who meet the following eligibility criteria are eligible for direct admission to Amity University.

  • The student must have scored at least 80% aggregate marks in Class XII / 10 + 2 exams in 2019 or 2020 are eligible for admission to the 2020 batch.

  • The exam must be conducted by a recognized board such as ICSE, CBSE or any State Boards.

Students who meet the eligibility criteria are exempted from the selection process of Amity University. Selection of such candidates is done on the basis of their Amity Application forms.
