Is North East Frontier University a fake university?

Recognised by the UGC, North East Frontier Technical University (NEFTU) is a state private, deemed university located in Aalo in Arunachal Pradesh, India formed under Section 2F of UGC Act. The degrees it awards are also recognised by UGC. 

NEFTU was established in 2014 and is sponsored by The Automobile Society of India, a registered charitable trust. While it operates under the state government's framework, it is not a government-owned institution.
