GNIOT is a really good college for technical education. It was started by the Shri Ram Educational Trust in the year 2001. GNIOT is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. When it comes to the CSE programme at GNIOT, here are some merits and demerits you should consider:

Merits of Greater Noida Institute of Technology for CSE:

Fees and Seat Intake:  B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is a 4-year course with an intake of 180 students. The GNIOT fee for B.Tech CSE is Rs 5,82,600 for four years. The fee structure is reasonable compared to the quality of teaching provided.

Infrastructure: GNIOT has a good infrastructure with well-equipped computer labs, classrooms, and library facilities that are essential for CSE students.

Faculty: The college has a mix of experienced and qualified faculty members who can provide guidance and support in the field of computer science.

Placement Opportunities: GNIT has tie-ups with several companies and organisations, which can provide placement opportunities for CSE students. This can be beneficial for securing job opportunities after graduation. In 2023, B.Tech CSE students got placed at Kanini Software, Ericcson & Aquasag, Merino and many more. The average CTC offered is Rs 5.75 LPA.

Industry Exposure: The college often organises industrial visits, seminars, and workshops to provide students with exposure to the latest trends and technologies in the industry. This exposure can be valuable for CSE students to stay updated with the industry's demands.

Demerits of Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIT) for CSE:

As GNIOT is a private engineering college, it may have a large number of students competing for limited resources, including infrastructure and placement opportunities. This could potentially affect individual attention and the overall competitiveness of the college.

It's worth noting that the quality of education and overall experience may vary from student to student. It is advisable to visit the college, interact with current students and faculty, and consider your personal goals and preferences before making a decision
