Is there a best of 5 rule in ahsec? Will the marks of my worst subject be counted along with the other 5 subjects and decrease the overall percentage?

In Assam class 12th, you are required to appear for two language papers and three elective subjects. In the case of a candidate offering four elective subjects, the marks secured in three subjects where the candidate's performance is better shall be taken into account for determining pass, rank, division, distinction, and star marks. The best of five rule will only be applicable if you are offering more than three elective subjects.
