LPU does not have Management Quota. In order to join B.tech Biotechnology, you need to full the eligibility criteria which is, Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JEE (Main)^ Few points told by my known who did her studies from LPU that will help you to make your decision: LPU School of Bioengineering and Biosciences is equipped with state-of-the-art Bioprocess Engineering and Bioscience labs and believes in imparting knowledge to students through a practical approach to achieve mastery in plant and animal physiology. The major difference between any B. Sc degree and B. Tech degree is the fact that admission to B. Tech is a professional engineering degree and only approved engineering institutes are authorized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (India) (UGC) to give this degree; B.Sc, however, is an academic course which is available in almost every college of India.
