B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture is a four year Agriculture degree programme which produces graduates with broad understating of Agriculture and allied science with broad understanding of agriculture related problems and got expertise through well planned on-field implementation, basic concepts in disease, insect pest, weeds and nutrient disorders to enhance the production. Eligibility Criteria to take admission in this programme is Qualifying LPUNEST and Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent Condition of English as a subject may be waived off provided the candidate has studied in English medium. There is 5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.

BSc. Agriculture degree offers a number of avenues for growth. The graduates desirous of specializing may opt for a master’s program. The Undergraduate Degree in BSc. Agriculture consists of few core subjects such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Genetics, Plant Pathology, Land Surveying, Entomology Horticulture, Physiology, Food Science, water resource management, and Animal Products management. A number of subjects such as Economics, Meteorology, Technology, Business, and Production Management are studied in close reference to the subject. Fees: the fees for MBA program is 120000 per semester but there is scholarship on the basis of entrance test that is Lpunest , national level exams like CAT, MAT, XAT., financial aid like need basis, defence basis and many more. If you still think that fees is little to high then there is a facility of student loan facility and you can do part time job side by side to recover the amount and to helping your parents. Placement: Students of the School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio Seed, Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Sanra organics, and many more. The maximum package offered for in Agri. at LPU is 19.25 LPA and the average package is 3.4 LPA.
