Polytechnic College, Ernakulam (GPC) offers admission to diploma courses in the following disciplines: a)Civil Engineering b) Electrical Engineering c) Electronics and Communication Engineering d) Mechanical Engineering e) Computer Science and Engineering f) Information Technology Admission to GPC is based on the merit of the candidate's performance in the Kerala State Polytechnic Entrance Examination (K-POLYCET). The K-POLYCET is conducted by the Kerala State Board of Technical Education (KSBTE). The K-POLYCET is a one-day computer-based test that consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. The questions are based on the syllabus of the 10+2 examination.
