Aspirants seeking admission to the course must have passed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics , Chemistry and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JEE (Main). COURSE DETAILS Fee varies from Rs. 60000/-to 120000/-Per Semester, For Details refer University Website (www.lpu.in) LPU offers extensive scholarship on the basis of LPUNEST (National Entrance and Scholarship Test). The Fee mentioned above is for candidates seeking admission in Phase -I as per LPUNEST Cut-OFF III. Approximately 50% of students are able to crack this scholarship test. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) You can get admission through lateral entry. The eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) 3 years after 10th Or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) Or Diploma in Architectural Assistantship Or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) Or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants) At LPU the BTech Automotive Design Engineering trains the students on a range of topics including designing, manufacturing, and maintenance of automobiles.This course equips the students to meet the challenge of creating new and improved vehicle systems along with a good grasp of mechanical engineering principles and an understanding of the new materials being used. It deals with technical designing for fuel and performance efficiency and the second aspect primarily focuses on designing the aesthetics of the vehicle.
