LPU offers B.Sc. (Hons.) The Computer Science Duration of the course is 3 yrs. (6 Semesters). 10+2 equivalent terminology: sometimes students from different regions use different names for their 10+2 qualification. Being in admissions, we need to acquaint ourselves to these terms. Some common terms equivalent to 10+2 are Intermediate, Inter, Junior College, Senior Secondary or SSE. Similarly for 10th some times high school or matric or matriculation word is used. Placements in LPU are administered by a team called the Division of Career Services. This team helps the students in obtaining relevant work experience to complement their studies and develop appropriate skills and knowledge

Students in the fifth semester are eligible for Dayanand Brajendra Swarup College (DBS) Kanpur, campus placement. Companies such as HP and Dell visited colleges with a large number of students. For semester exams, students must have a grade point average of at least 70% in order to be considered for any job. Generally, small companies visit the campus, so students prefer to find their own placements; they are not entirely reliant on this college for placements. However, students studying here are guaranteed placement, and the average package offered to BSc Computer Science students here is 4.5 LPA, which is a great place to start.
