LPU support financially to scholar students and offers numerous scholarships so that students can focus on their studies and achieve the goal of their life. LPU offers 150+ diploma to doctorate courses under various disciplines such as engineering, architecture, agriculture, hotel management, management, law, commerce, food technology, biotechnology and more. The scholarship student avail at the time of admission will be applicable for the whole duration of the course unless you perform any indisciplinary task. The scholarships provide in LPU are on the basis of Previous qualifying exam, LPUNEST, national level exam, performance in Innovation, Startup, Entrepreneurship & Hackathons, Scholarship on the basis of Performance in Sports, Cultural, R & D, Co-curricular, Social Service, Bravery Awards., Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board, Financial Aid – Need Based i.e. Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and special categories that includes Single Girl Child, Single Mother, Students from Minorities, Transgender, and Non-Traditional Student, Financial Aid for Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their Dependents, Financial Aid to Persons with Certain Disability and orphans. Hi, Do not worry. LPU does provide support in the form of varied scholarship schemes at the time of admission depending upon your courses. But broadly speaking let me share the varied categories of scholarship provided to you at LPU. 1. Scholarship: Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. For example, on the basis of performance in 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes and Graduation for Postgraduate Programmes LPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test) Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. ) Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards Scholarships/ Fee Benefits for Ph.D. Scholarship Scheme for Toppers of School Education Boards 2. LPU understands the social corporate responsibility and believes in holding hands of the needy. Hence, in a bid to owe the social responsibility towards the needy, and give a token of encouragement to the meritorious, LPU offers a range of scholarships and financial aid. You do not have to apply for a scholarship every time you pay the fee. What you get at the time of admission, continues till the course is over. However, the criteria are different for those who have sought admission through sports quota, board toppers, and performing arts. If you are a board topper and someone from the sports category and extracurricular performance category, you will have to either maintain a CGPA or keep performing in sports or extracurricular activities as the case may be.
