For spot admission, you usually have to fill a form, especially if you didn’t get a seat in the earlier merit lists. SAMS Odisha handles the spot admission process on their official website.

This year (2025), the timeline was:

• July 7 to 10 – Form filling for spot admission
• July 12 – Spot selection merit list was released
• July 15 – Last date to report at the college

So yes, you do need to fill the spot admission form if you weren't selected in earlier rounds. But if you've already been allotted a seat before, then you don’t need to fill it again.
