Picking a stream for engineering should largely depend on what you are interested in studying. Before arriving at a decision, make sure that you have researched about the potential streams that you want to pick.
For example, if you like the idea of studying Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or Mechanical Engineering, then look for the credits and subjects that are taught under these programmes to be sure whether these are the subjects that you will find interesting or not.
Also, you must also try to understand the kind of job you want to be doing once you graduate. This will also help you choose the right stream for engineering. Lastly, go with your gut instinct as no one understands your strengths better than you.
