Swami Vivekanand Institute of Engineering and Technology, which was founded in 2004, is affiliated with the I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. The institute was established under the aegis of Sh. Raghunath Rai Memorial Education & Charitable Trust. The SVIET campus is located 30 kilometres from Chandigarh on the NH-1 Chandigarh-Patiala National Highway. The campus is well connected with prime areas like Chandigarh, Mohali, Ambala, Patiala and Panchkula and offers all the necessary facilities to the students.
