LPU is more than just a university; it is a vibrant city in itself, offering everything you need within its campus. It provides a safe and secure environment, making it a home away from home. Staying in the LPU hostels is highly convenient, while living outside the campus poses safety concerns. LPU functions as a self-contained mini town, ensuring that students have easy access to all essentials without having to leave the campus premises. The entire campus is under constant surveillance with CCTV cameras, leaving no corner uncovered. Only individuals with a valid GATE pass are allowed entry into the university, and even staff members without RFIDs must present their pass. Girls are not permitted to leave the university without parental permission and a GATE pass. The university is well-protected with high walls, barbed wires, security guards, and CCTVs, leaving no room for any unauthorized entry. Girls have specific timings to enter the hostels, while boys are allowed to roam the university until 9 pm. For girls who wish to study in the Central library at night, they are accompanied by security guards during their two-hour allotted time. Women security guards handle the safety of girls on campus. The university strictly prohibits the use of illegal substances and conducts regular checks to ensure compliance. Any offensive behavior is not tolerated within the campus, and the university takes strict actions against such actions. The hostels at LPU offer two types of accommodations: Standard Rooms, which are shared by 4/3/2/1 occupants and can be either air-cooled or air-conditioned. The student rooms at LPU are equipped with various amenities such as an iron bed, plastic chair, study table, almirah, geyser, and AC/air cooler (if applicable). The apartments at LPU offer luxurious accommodation with 1/2/3/4 rooms and attached washrooms. These apartments also feature a common kitchen area, dining area, and lobby. The furniture provided in the apartments includes a wooden box bed, plastic chair, study table, almirah, AC, and geyser. LPU prioritizes providing a balanced diet to its students, offering a menu with a wide variety of sumptuous options. The food options cater to different regional preferences, including North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthani, and more. Students can choose their meals according to their taste, and the quality of food is excellent. The LPU campus is vast, with over 400 kiosks where students can find a wide range of food options. The hostel mess serves delicious food, and regular inspections are conducted to ensure hygiene and quality. The mess menu is customized for students from different zones, providing ample choices. Additionally, LPU has a non-veg mess operated by a third-party vendor, allowing students to opt for suitable meal plans. LPU is not the only a university, it's like a city, and then you need not stay outside. It is like a home away from home. Everything is available on the campus and safe for you. The LPU hostels are more convenient, and staying outside the campus is not safe. As LPU is itself a mini town in its periphery. Students do not need to pass the gates of LPU for any essentials, you just name the thing and it is available inside the LPU campus only. Safety Concerns : The whole campus means every nook is Covered with CCTV cameras. Outsiders are not allowed to enter the University campus without a GATE pass. In fact, the staff who does not have RFIDs of their conveyance are not allowed to enter without the GATE pass. Girls are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point of time, to go outside the university, permissions from parents are taken to provide them with the GATE pass. The university is secured completely with high walls, barbed wires, security guards, and CCTVs so no loopholes where they can sneak from. Girls have to enter their specifics in the particular time duration of 7 pm, and they cannot escape from hostels as boys are allowed to roam the university till 9 pm maximum. Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs of time and will be accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Girls are handled by the women security guards only. Illegal substances are strictly forbidden and regular checks are done to make sure such activities do not happen in the university. Any offensive act is not at all appreciated inside the campus and results in strict actions being taken against such action by the University. The hostels at LPU are basically of two types: 1. Standard Rooms: Standard Rooms at LPU hostels are arrangements like lodges where students can live in a shared 4/ 3/ 2/ 1-seater room with the option of having the room Air Cooled or Air-Conditioned Ventilation. The following amenities are provided to the students rooms are Iron Bed, Plastic Chair, Study Table, Almirah, Geyser, AC/Air Cooler (As Applicable). 2. Apartments: The apartment accommodation at LPU is 1/ 2/ 3/ 4 rooms with attached washrooms. There are facilities constructed for providing luxurious accommodation. The apartment has a common kitchen area, dining and lobby area. Some other features of Apartments at LPU are given below. Wooden Box Bed, Plastic Chair , Study Table ,Almirah,AC,Geyser. LPU focuses on giving a balanced diet to the students as per nutrients needed. The menu is full of sumptuous variety Understanding individuals appetite, palate and food preferences LPU designs various options of food for the children.It has North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthani, and many other regional messes. A student can choose the food as per his or her taste. The quality of food is good. Parathas, Butter, Curd, Milk, Tea are served at breakfast. LPU campus is so huge that you will easily find more than 400 kiosks within the campus from which you can have anything you want to eat. The hostel mess provides very tasty food. The food supervisor regularly conduct inspections in mess to ensure the hygiene and quality of food served to students. The have food menu specially customized for students belonging to different zones. There are too many options to choose from. Even if you want to skip a meal, then also you can pay less accordingly. LPU also has a non-veg mess ( third party vendor) so you can opt for the plans accordingly. If on some days you don't feel like having a meal in mess then you can go to UNIMALL which has CCD, Dominos or you can order on phone and they will deliver at your hostel.

Dear Student,
The IIT New Girls’ Hostel is the most popular female hostel at the Department of Pharmaceutics Institute (IIT), Banaras Hindu University. The hostel has 364 rooms and a garden area. There is a common hall and a gym area with some of the basic gym equipment. The common reading rooms is used by students and there is high-speed wifi facility as well. The entire hostel area of IITBHU Varanasi is secured with CCTV Surveillance. Further, the college has not provided any information about the fee structure for the female hostel.
