To take admission in B tech programs at LPU, you need minimum 60% aggregate marks in 12th examinations and you must have Physics, Mathematics & English subjects included. However, you can check the website for the updated information for the program you are searching. To take admission, you have to qualify the LPUNEST test that is being conducted by the university. LPUNEST (Lovely professional university national entrance & scholarship test) is a test conducted for Eligibility & Scholarship purpose. If you get good marks/grades, you will be able to get a scholarship also as per the cut-off decided by the university. To gain admission into the BTech program at LPU, it is necessary to have achieved a minimum of 60% overall marks in the Class 12 examinations. Additionally, the Class 12 curriculum must include the subjects of Physics, Mathematics, and English. Alternatively, admission can also be obtained by performing well in the JEE Mains, LPUNEST, or CUET exams. In the case where a candidate has received education in English or has studied a similar subject in their qualifying test, the specific requirement of studying English may be waived. The scholarships offered by LPU will be determined based on the score achieved in the LPUNEST. If the LPUNEST score exceeds the minimum requirement, the candidate may be eligible for a substantial scholarship. Candidates from the North-East states, Sikkim, defense personnel and their dependents, as well as wards of Kashmiri migrants, will receive a 5% relaxation in the admission criteria. The GNIT Kolkata admission criteria for the B.Tech programme have been set by the institute as per the guidelines of MAKAUT. For Guru Nanak Institute of Technology admissions for B.Tech course requires a student to have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Computer Application/Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects (40% for reserve category) and at least 30% marks in English with valid score in WBJEE/JEE (Main)/CEEAMPAI-WB.
