Hi there, the fee for the B Tech Mechanical engineering program is Rs 120000. You can get scholarship as well. The LPU offers a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal, etc specialisation. The Eligibility Criteria is (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. The highest salary package offered to mechanical branch students is 20 LPA, while the average salary is 5.75 LPA. Mechanical engineers work mostly in engineering services, research and development, and manufacturing. Coming to your question, without any comparison. I would say LPU is better for mechanical engineering based on the following point.LPU is good for Mechanical and automobile engineering. Good placements in a core company as well as a software company. Other than participating in different events like a go-kar. However, The VSSUT fee structure varies as per the category of students. The college charges different fees to NTFW, TFW and regular or self-financing boarders/day scholars.
