It's a great and typical location to be, and my friend studies there. However, the following are the points you might have to note :
You must acquire an application signed by the CC and the HOD if you want to leave campus during class hours. The actual procedure will take a long time.
Girls can remain out until 7 p.m. in the summer and 6 p.m. in the winter. You can leave campus by 4:30, but you must return in two hours to prevent receiving a call from home.
Like most universities, you need to have at least a 75% attendance rate, although this will be assessed every 15 days. For the MSTs Monthly Sessional Tests, you must be present for 75% of the 15 days in order to avoid being sent to detention.
The campus is lush, clean, and includes a playground, yet it is encircled by grasslands on all sides for up to five km. It includes every essential amenity, including a pool, games area, sports pitch and stationery stores.
Hostel, mess food, hygiene, and sharing a room are not at all problems. Additionally, you won't need to worry about ragging. Once the Warden has filled up and signed your passbook, you are free to travel to Chandigarh to shop.
