Hi, The eligibility for B.sc Hons  Microbiology at LPU is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. It is mandatory to maintain the eligibility criteria. LPUNEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. It focus on correlation of concepts with the scientific happenings for deep rooted aspects in the area of Microbiology. Hi, The registrations for session 2023 at LPU has already started and the eligibility for B.sc Hons Microbiology is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.(5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants). BSc Microbiology provides a detailed study of micro organisms and their effect on the human body in it’s 3 year undergraduate course. The BSc Microbiology syllabus also contains information of different types of viruses and bacteria and how they function in a human cell.
