Dear aspirant..... Different Institutes have different set of eligibility criteria for admission to different courses. Lovely Professional University established in 2005 is one of the premier institutes of education in India. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and comprises more than 20 schools offering diploma, undergraduate, post-graduate and, doctoral programmes in 200+ recognized disciplines like engineering, management, pharmacy, social science, hotel management, all in one campus having an extra edge in curriculum and facilities. LPU strictly adheres to the guidelines of UGC and have drafted a proper policy and set eligibility for admission to different courses. As per the eligibility criteria for different courses the marks required in qualifying exam varies from 50% to 60% depending on the course. The candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., MBA, Hons, B.Pharm, MLT etc.. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a national-level entrance test conducted by LPU and is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. So, it totally depends on the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to take admission to. LPU admission 2023 is going on from the first week of November 2022. The university admits students to its 150+ courses via LPUNEST and other national entrance exams. LPU has released the registration and examination dates for the LPUNEST Exam 2023. LPU strictly follows the standards set by the UGC. ON the basis of UGC guidelines, LPU has drawn its academic policy and set other criteria as well. Since you have not mentioned which program you are interested in, I will give you a brief overview of the main programs offered at UG level. The eligibility for B Tech, and hons programs such as BBA Hons, BSc Hons and B Com hons programs is 60 percent. The eligibility for MBA is 55 percent, B Com, BCA and BBA is 50 percent. For BA the eligibility is pass marks in any discipline. LPU conducts LPUNEST for admission in MBA, Hons, BPT, MLT, B Tech programs etc.

Lovely Professional University conducts LPUNEST. This test is mandatory for taking admission in the programs like B.Tech, M. Sc. Agriculture and Ph.D. etc. LPU offers admission as well as scholarship on the basis of the performance of a student in the LPUNEST. However, for programs like MBA, Hotel management, Law, Design, Diploma etc. it is not mandatory for the students to appear for LPUNEST for taking admissions. Students willing to avail scholarship from the University may appear for LPUNEST. If a student is not able to clear LPUNEST he/she generally gets additional chance to appear and clear the test. Student can get direct admission without clearing the LPUNEST, provided they meet the eligibility criteria set for the respective programs wherein LPUNEST is not a mandate. The best part about LPUNEST is that this test is MCQ based and is not having any kind of Negative Marking against Wrong Answers or Unanswered Questions. Hi there, I will give you a brief overview of LPUs programs. The eligibility for B Tech, BBA Hons, BSc Hons and B Com hons programs is 60 percent. The eligibility for B Com, BCA and BBA is 50 percent. For BA the eligibility is pass marks in any discipline. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants) is also given. For further details you may visit the website.
