What is the Selection Ratio for the NIFT 2024 Exam?

The NIFT 2024 selection ratio is simply the number of shortlisted applicants who cleared the GAT and CAT stages of the exam and have been finalised for the NIFT Situation Test stage. As per the official data released by the conducting body, there is a 1:4 selection ratio for the NIFT 2024 exam. In other words, the NIFT 2024 selection ratio states that only one in every four of the NIFT test takers will be shortlisted for the Situation Test. Given that the NIFT 2024 combined intake is 5,289 seats, students will be allocated their desired Design programme across a total of 18 NIFT campuses in India. Thus, a NIFT 2024 selection ratio of 1:4 will aid the administrating authority in filtering out potential candidates from the rest of the competition.
