Dear student,

Physiotherapy is an interesting field if you have an interest in the same. The demand for skilled professionals in the field is high in hospitals (across almost all departments). Alternatively, physiotherapists can also work independently or be a part of multiple teams.

To start with, the salary of a physiotherapist varies from region to region and hospital to hospital. It can range between Rs.5,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month. It will also depend on the experience one has in the field. The salary can go up to Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 90,000 a month with time if you can master it with the best of your effort.

A physiotherapist can work with centres for physically and mentally challenged people, industries, community health centers, government and private hospitals, nursing homes or private care centres, mental health centres, rehabilitation centres, sports clinics etc.
