Dear Student,
Since Neuroscience is vast and comprises many fields, students from different backgrounds such as pure sciences and engineering can pursue a career in Neuroscience.
Within the engineering stream, graduates/ postgraduates in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Biotechnology find a lot in common with Neuroscience. Students from other engineering courses such as Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering etc are also eligible to pursue higher studies in Neuroscience.
However, the opportunities in this field are limited due to fewer seats in colleges across India.
