Let me tell you the admission process of LPU Steps of taking admission Step 1 – Signup Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal. You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.Login to the LPUADMIT with already created username/ password Step 2 - Application for Admission Recent Photograph Date of Birth proof (Matric certificate, Aadhaar card) Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. Also, if the applicant is claiming scholarship on the basis of Step 3- Apply LPUNEST (for Scholarship) LPUNEST is an online test for scholarship. Student can avail huge scholarship based on performance in this test. Deposit the test fee: Cost of Application form and Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is ₹1000 (for Boys) and ₹500 (for Girls). Cost of Application form and Printed LPUNEST Kit is ₹1500 (for Boys) and ₹1000 (for Girls). Fill the test application form. STEP 4- Book the Exam Slot and Appear Book the slot (preferred venue, date and time) to appear in the LPUNEST Exam. Appear and qualify the exam. Perform STEP 2 in case admission is not taken already

Dear aspirant Lovely Professional University established in 2005 is one of the premier institutes of education in India. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and offers diploma, undergraduate, post-graduate and, doctoral programmes in 150+ recognized disciplines. LPU admission 2023 is going on. LPU has released the registration and examination dates for the LPUNEST Exam 2023. Registration started on February 1, 2023, LPU has a fully online application to admission process. You can apply online on the official website - admissions.lpu.in. The candidate is required to complete some basic formalities (register online, upload documents, pay a minimum amount of fee, clear entrance test/interview if applicable) to confirm the seat in any programme subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. An eight-digit provisional registration number will be generated and will be shared on registered mobile number and email-id of the candidate, indicating the confirmation of seat. One can also visit the University campus on any working day from 9 am to 5 pm to complete the admission process. There are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission to any of the course at LPU. As per the eligibility criteria for different courses the marks required in qualifying exam varies from 50% to 60% depending on the course. The candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., BSc. Hons, B.Pharm, etc.. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a national-level entrance test conducted by LPU and is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. So, it totally depends on the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to take admission to. The steps involved are : Register on admission.lpu.in by filling in your details. Select your course as per your eligibility. Apply for LPUNEST to avail scholarship or make direct payment of admission fees. Select desired city and date of exam for LPUNEST. Appear for LPUNEST. Await scorecard to get admission or scholarship. Following the result, attend online counselling. Fill in seat preference and download the allotment letter once the seat is allotted. Book your seat by making the initial payment online. Upload necessary documents.

Well, it depends upon the programme you would like to take admission in. What eligibility criteria it follows. If the eligibility says subject to qualifying LPUNEST then you have to clear the entrance exam. In addition to qualifying it also provides you a good amount of scholarship if you score well. In case the eligibility of the programme says Pass or only states some percentage criteria, only then LPUNEST will not be a mandatory to qualify. Still in this case, a candidate has an option to appear for LPUNEST just for the sake of scholarship purposes. As “LPUNEST” is short for “Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship test”. In my opinion a candidate should appear for this exam even if it is not mandatory, the reason behind that is, there is a chance that you can avail a good scholarship. Hope I have answered your query.
