Dear Student,

Yes, HP Institute of Management Studies, Simla, conducts its own entrance examination for providing admission to the BBA programme. The BBA Entrance Test will comprise of four parts: General English, General Mathematics, General Knowledge, General Management. The total marks of the BBA entrance test is 50 marks and it is conducted for shortlisting candidates for the Group Discussion (10 marks) and Personal Interview (10 marks) rounds. For further rounds of the selection process, three candidates are typically shortlisted for each seat on the basis of a written test. Also note that no re-evaluation or rechecking of marks is allowed for the written test. Apart from this, you must have completed your Plus Two examination under 10+2 system or examination equivalent thereto of a Board/ University established by Law in India with 45% marks (40% marks for Scheduled Caste/ Schedule Tribes). The maximum age limit to apply for the BBA programme is 22 years on the 1st July of the year concerned. However, if you belong to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe category, the upper age limit will be relaxed by three years.

Thank You
