As per the Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants) Bachelor of Physiotherapy or BPT is an undergraduate programme that deals with the structure of the human body. The duration of this course is four years and once the duration of the programme is over, students are required to complete a six months internship. Physiotherapy is a kind of treatment that is carried through physical forces such as heat, electricity, mechanical pressure, and mechanical forces. Physical therapy is done in order to maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability throughout the lifespan. Therapy helps to treat disorders without using drugs. Physiotherapists have a thorough understanding of the human anatomy and the intricacies of bones, muscles and nerves.
