After completing a BA LLB, you can become a judge, provided that you satisfy all the eligibility criteria listed below.
The candidate must have qualified an LLB from a recognised university.
The applicant needs to appear and clear the State Judicial Service Exam.
The aspirant must have practised as a lawyer in the high court from 7-10 years. The experience varies from state to state.
The aspirant must be an Indian National.
The minimum age must not be less than 45 years
The type of Judge you would become depends on the work experience you own and the skill-set you possess. You are most likely to start off your career as a state Subordinate or District Judge.
