Dear Student,

Usually, Certificate and Diploma courses are offered in a specific subject or specialization. For instance, Diploma in Communicative English, Diploma in Communication Skills, Diploma in Buddhist Studies, Diploma in Yoga etc.,

The duration of certificate courses ranges between six months to one year. On the other hand, the duration of Diploma courses is likely to be one year.

However, if you take up Degree courses, the duration is three years. Here, you will study the subject in deep. For example, if you take B.A. in English Literature, you will study from Ancient to Modern literature. In degree courses, you will have a deep knowledge on the subject.

In Certificate and Diploma Courses, you learn only basics about a particular subject and topic. For example, if you take Diploma in Journalism, you will study only basics that are required for a job. However, if you take B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication, you will study various aspects of it and become more industry fit.
