Dear Student,

Your decision must be based on the career path you want to follow. Both BBA and B.Com are good courses if they are carefully planned.

BBA:

In order to get the most out of your BBA programme, you must pursue MBA once you are done with the programme. Job options after BBA are good but salary packages are not lucrative. This programme is the basic level of business education.

It is aimed to develop the business acumen of aspiring managers and instill entrepreneurial insights in them. Therefore pursuing MBA after BBA can help you shine in the business world and provide you with management level jobs.

B.Com:

B.Com programmes can be understood as an overview of all the subjects in the field of course. The subjects taught are same as B.Com (Hons.). However, students pursuing B.Com will not be able to do a specialization in a specific subject.

Although there are several job options after pursuing B.Com, salary packages are not as attractive as those offered to B.Com (Hons.) graduates. Freshers can expect salary packages up to Rs.14,000-20,000 per month.

Make sure that you pick the course after determining what you want to do after completing your programme. Apply only for the reputed colleges and universities regardless of the course you pick.
