Center of Excellence in Digital Forensics (CoEDF) in Chennai offers good training, especially in digital forensics. However, most government forensic jobs are on a contract basis and don’t usually come through campus placements. But if you're interested in the digital side of forensics like cybercrime, digital evidence, etc., then there are better chances in the private sector, like IT companies, cybersecurity firms, and even consulting roles. CoEDF mainly focuses on building technical and hands-on skills, which is useful if you're planning to go into digital forensics.
