Getting admission into Ph.D. at LPU is not at all difficult provided the eligibility criteria are met by the candidate. Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate and LPUNEST + interview. Applicants who have qualified UGC (NET/ JRF)/ CSIR (NET/ JRF)/ ICAR (JRF/ SRF) examination/SPM/ SLET (Punjab only)/ GATE or GPAT score card/ ICAR (NET), Teacher Fellowship holder or passed M.Phil. Programme (in Regular mode only) are exempted from LPUNEST (Ph.D.). Exemption is for LPUNEST (Ph.D.) only but the applicant will have to fill the LPUNEST (Ph.D.) form and appear for the Interview. They are always ready to help the students . During the exams, professors arrange special classes for the students to help them revise better and clear their doubts. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology’s Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. Apart from this, LPU has best lab facilities for each subject. Department has a dedicated laboratory division with fully functional world-class equipment. A large library spread over 6 floors, with lakhs of books and resources. You can read and issue books on the weekly basis. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. You can participate or play any sport according to their choice basketball, hockey, cricket, table tennis, volleyball etc. Talking about campus,The first time I visited the campus I had no idea how big the campus would be, I wasn’t prepared to witness such a huge walk down but later got used to it. I would say be prepared to witness muscle pain in initial few days if you are not used to physical exercise on regular bases. Hi, The life of PHD scholar will be a bit workaholic, if you want to achieve something in life. There are two kinds of life in LPU; One easy life i.e. Study less and enjoy, which is rewarding for few years of life but you have to struggle alot after your degree completion achieve things. Another one is the hard one which is the most rewarding one. And if you practice to be a dedicated hard worker for the 4 years of your student life then rest of the life will be a cake walk for you. Dear Student
In order to get eligible for admission in the PhD in management course offered by LPU Phagwara, you must have cleared a master's degree with at least 55% aggregate(50% for SC/ ST candidates). You can apply for admission at LPU Phagwara by filling its application form. Final selection will be done on the basis of your scores in the LPUNEST entrance exam and personal interview. Around 70% weightage will be provided to performance in the Entrance Test and 30% to the Interview.
