How online exam will. be conducted? should I have to go to examination centre and write from there or I can attend online exam from home ???

On behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC), the National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor Both, in Indian Universities and Colleges.

Highlights of UGC NET Exam Pattern

Candidates are advised to go through the below-mentioned details for a clear understanding. 

• The exam is conducted in Computer-based mode.

• The test will consist of two papers and both the papers will have objective type questions.

• The choice for the paper medium can be exercised at the time of filling the form. Candidates can choose either Hindi or English language.

• The duration of the Paper I is 1 hour.
