Dear Student,

If you have completed your graduation in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), you are eligible to pursue a post-graduate programme in Physician Assistant.

There are many colleges and universities outside India that offer a post-graduate Physician Assistant programme, with high prospects of career growth in the field. Some of the colleges which offer a post-graduate Physician Assistant programme are:

  • Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing - UC Davis, Sacramento, USA
  • Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, USA

The common eligibility criteria for admission into a Physician Assistant programme for international students include:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Some work experience in the field of medicine
  • Official transcripts from previous institutions
  • Language tests may be required

There may be additional requirements such as recommendation letters and statement of purposes, depending upon the university. You need to consult the course page carefully to determine all the details before you apply.

Please feel free to get back to us if you have any more queries. We wish you the best for your future.
